We have been asked for help changing iCloud passwords and its seems to be pretty confusing. Let's see if we can help make it a little clearer.

These instructions are as current as the date of this post

First open the browser of your choice and go to

https://appleid.apple.com/#!&page=signin

Enter your Apple ID if your remember it. If not, click Forgot Apple ID or Password and click Continue

Select if you want to Reset your Password or Reset your Security Questions

Click I need to reset my password

Select Get an email. Apple will email you a link for you to reset your password.

Example email below:

When you click on the link in the email "Reset Now" it brings you to this page:

Enter your new password and confirm the new password.

Passwords must contain the following:

1. 8 or more characters

2. Upper and lowercase letters

3. At least one number

Click Reset Password

Below is the confirmation page for when the password has been accepted.

Click go to your account for other account related information.
