How to test your meeting quality on Microsoft Teams

Before you join a Microsoft Teams meeting, or joining a meeting from a new location or using new hardware its always a good idea to test your calls audio and video. The following are steps you can take to test a call.


Locate your Microsoft Teams icon in the taskbar.



Right click on the Microsoft Teams Icon and click settings



In the Settings page



Click Devices




Click the Make a test call button




The test call will prompt you with " To test you call quality, record a short message after the beep, then your message will be played back to you. If you are happy with the quality of your message then you have configured teams correctly. IF not check your device settings and try again."


Record a message and let it play back to you. if your happy, the call will end and display results from your test call. If there are any issues you will see them here.
